If you have a Canadian bank account, payments can be made via Interac e-Transfer in Canadian funds to heather@hjlearning.com prior to each online appointment.

*If you do not have a Canadian bank account, payments can be made via PayPal.  If you are using this payment method, the fee per appointment hour stays the same, but a small surcharge is added to the appointment amount to cover PayPal’s transaction fees.

Online appointments are conducted using Zoom. After booking an appointment you will be sent an email containing a link to your scheduled appointment. This link will become active at the scheduled meeting start time. All times given will be Eastern Standard/Daylight.

Possible Assistance with Cost of Services

This section is provided for information purposes only.  You should check with the appropriate group or agency to determine your eligibility for assistance.

Learning services and academic coaching services are not covered under the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) or by extended health care plans.

Some extended health care plans may cover coaching for ADHD.  Please contact your provider to find out if they provide this type of coverage, and what conditions must be met in order for the covered expenses to be approved.

Postsecondary students in Ontario with disabilities who have applied for and are eligible for funding from OSAP may qualify for the Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) and the Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment for Students with Permanent Disabilities (CSG-PDSE).  The BSWD provides assistance for students with a permanent or “persistent or prolonged” disability.  The cost of Academic Coaching may qualify for coverage through these funding sources.  The cost of ADHD Coaching may qualify for coverage through the BSWD.  Please contact the Accessibility office at your school to see if you qualify for financial assistance for my services.

If you are an employee of a business or corporation, check with your employer to see if coaching for ADHD may qualify for professional development funds.

If you are self-employed, confirm with an accountant if coaching fees may be considered a business expense.
